Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen (HITSZ) is a satellite campus of Harbin Institute of Technology located in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. It was established in 2002 in cooperation with the Shenzhen Municipal Government as part of China’s broader strategy to expand world‑class engineering education. HITSZ offers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs in a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, computer science, architecture, materials science, sciences, economics, and management. The university is research‑oriented and emphasizes innovation and applied learning. It has more than 12,000 students, including international students from over 60 countries, and a faculty with a high level of international experience. HITSZ maintains strong ties with the local industry and technology sector, providing students with valuable internship and employment opportunities in Shenzhen’s vibrant tech ecosystem.
