Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is a prestigious public research university located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. It traces its roots back to 1952 and is governed directly by the Ministry of Education of China. HUST is among the first Chinese universities selected for national excellence initiatives such as Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First‑Class University Plan, which aim to build world‑class institutions.
