The International Islamic University Malaysia, also known as IIUM, is a public university in Malaysia. The university was established in 1983 and founded upon Islamic principles. IIUM aims to become a leading international center of educational excellence which seeks to restore the dynamic and progressive role of the Muslim Ummah in all branches of knowledge and intellectual discourse. With 16 faculties, representing all major academic disciplines, a student population of more than 14,000, IIUM State is a global center of learning for some of the most important laws and new sciences shaping the future of our world. At IIUM institution, producing more than graduates, and combining theory with practice to create innovators and leaders of tomorrow, will always be IIUM ‘s aim.
