UCR University Extension Professional Studies is the continuing education and professional development division of the University of California, Riverside (UCR), serving domestic and international learners. For more than 50 years, it has offered professional certificate programs, continuing education, and career‑advancing courses in areas like business, healthcare, law, technology, and more. Programs include professional certificates, short courses, workshops, and specialized training designed to help people improve job skills or pursue career changes. All curricula are aligned with UCR’s academic standards, and many are approved by the UCR Academic Senate. UCR Extension also offers university credit courses, pathway programs, and intensive English programs for international students. Courses may be delivered in‑person in Riverside, online, or in hybrid formats, making them flexible and accessible for working adults and lifelong learners.
