Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) is a prestigious public technical university located in Prague, Czech Republic. Founded in 1707, it is one of the oldest technical universities in Central Europe and the oldest non‑military technical university on the continent. CTU consists of eight faculties covering disciplines such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, nuclear science and physical engineering, architecture, transportation sciences, biomedical engineering, and information technology. The university offers a wide range of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs, including many taught in English for international students. CTU emphasizes research, innovation, and international cooperation, hosting students from over 100 countries and partnering with universities and research institutions around the world.
