The university was founded by Henry Kenneth Walker, M.D., Doctor of Medicine and Neuroscience, Professor of Global Health at the Rollins School of Public Health, and Honorary Citizen of Tbilisi and Georgia. The university focuses on the implementation of educational programs that are compatible with international requirements through continuous development, improvement, and promotion of research activities; and the development of a student-centered environment through scientific, cultural, creative and knowledge development. The university offers programs in the study of medicine and dentistry
