Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) is a medical university specializing in health sciences, established in 1784, making it one of the oldest medical institutions in the world. RCSI offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in areas such as medicine, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, dentistry and biomedical sciences. The main campus is located in the heart of Dublin city centre, with historic buildings around St Stephen’s Green and York Street. RCSI is ranked 251–300 in the 2026 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, reflecting its global academic standing.
