South-west state University (SWSU), founded in 1964, is a rapidly developing university which holds the leading position among Russia’s universities. SWSU focuses on students in all aspects; academic, environmental and personal – the staff at SWSU Campus takes the students’ needs into consideration. Academically, it offers 57 of Bachelor’s and 49 Master’s degree programs across 8 faculties. In addition, a great deal of services and facilities are provided to all students, such as; a sports center, swimming pool, dormitory for all international students, high-tech labs, scientific libraries, a cafeteria, e – learning services, bookstores and more. Beyond educational matters, students can enjo y a moderate pace of life in Kursk; as the city runs quietly without hustle and bustle of a mega polis. Never the less the city is alive with young people and students, variety of modern malls and entertainment centers, music festivals and art galleries.
