Ulyanovsk State Technical (UlSTU), founded in 1957, is a major higher education and research institution in Ulyanovsk. It is one of the leading science centers of the Volga region that trains specialists in various areas, including economy, humanities, technical sciences etc. The university’s structure is formed out of 84 buildings and constructions, including 8 educational buildings, 6 hostels, 7 multistory apartment houses, canteens, and a sporting camp. Academically, a wide range of programs are offered across 10 faculties. Beyond educational matters, students can get engaged in one/more of the student’s events and activities related to culture, sports, health and arts. Furthermore, the U niversity pays much attention to the improvement of international ties; it includes both training and education of foreign citizens.
