Virginia Wesleyan University is the first coastal liberal arts and sciences university in the state of Virginia. The university is located on a 300-acre, park-like campus in Virginia Beach, just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay. It is situated in a region that is home to a wide range of business, governmental, and cultural institutions, as well as rich historical and natural resources that provide students with extensive academic and experiential opportunities. The university enrolls approximately 1,600 students annually across undergraduate, graduate, and online programs. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The Office of Student Activities at Virginia Wesleyan University complements the academic curriculum by enhancing the student experience through a variety of recreational and cultural programs. These initiatives aim to increase student engagement, strengthen campus connections, expand cultural awareness, involve students from diverse backgrounds, develop leadership skills, and provide opportunities for experiential learning.
